Care instructions
Caring for hair extensions:
Brush regularly:
Brush your extensions at least twice a day, starting from the ends and working your way up to prevent tangles and matting; use a wide-tooth comb or a specialized extension brush.
Wash correctly:
Wash your extensions less frequently than your natural hair, using a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner specifically designed for extensions. Focus on the roots when shampooing and condition the lengths and ends.
Avoid heat damage:
Apply a heat protectant before styling with hot tools like flat irons or curling irons, and try to minimize heat usage and use heat at 350 or lower. Non professional tools and to high of temperatures can burn and brake your extentions.
Handle with care:
When washing or styling, be gentle with the extensions and avoid pulling or tugging on the hair. Always wash in with hair in its natural laying position. Never wash upside-down.
Dry properly:
After washing, gently squeeze out excess water and either air dry or blow dry on a low heat setting.
Sleep on silk:
To reduce friction and breakage, use a silk or satin pillowcase when sleeping.
Swimming precautions:
Swimming id NOT recommended. If in water do not submerge your hair.
What to avoid:
Aggressive brushing: Brushing wet hair or brushing too vigorously can damage the extensions.
Hot styling tools directly on the bonds: Be careful not to apply excessive heat near the attachment points of the extensions.
Over-styling products: Using too much styling product can build up and make hair look greasy.
Tight hairstyles: Avoid wearing very tight hairstyles that can put stress on the extensions.
